Good afternoon, everybody.
It’s Thursday, June 19, 2025, and I’m cruising into the second half of this week with curiosity and intention.
Today, I’m doing something a little different: I’m out driving Uber.
Not because I have to—but because I want to. This is all part of an ongoing experiment around one central question:
How can I generate more value from my time?
For me, Uber isn’t just a side hustle. It’s a lead generation tool.
When else do you get one-on-one, uninterrupted, present conversations with complete strangers? Whether the ride is 5 minutes or 25, it’s a moment of real connection—and I want to use it to build relationships, discover needs, and see where it might lead.
Who knows if one ride turns into a new subscriber, a consulting lead, or a StoryBrand workshop attendee?
It’s not just a drive—it’s discovery.
I’m also using this time to record podcasts—like this one—thanks to my glasses, which double as a hands-free recording tool.
This is a perfect example of what I call dual allocation of resources. I’m already out here on the road—so why not maximize it?
Driving + Podcasting = Double Value for Time
This is exactly the kind of optimization I live for as a creator and strategist. If I can build content while I work, then every hour becomes a building block in the bigger picture.
Eventually, I’d love for passengers to hop in and join me live on the podcast. No scheduling. No prep. Just raw, authentic conversations in real time.
This is the future I see for content: spontaneous, portable, and powerful.
Instead of booking interviews weeks out, I’m aiming for on-demand storytelling—capturing people in their most real and present moments.
And it starts right here, in the Uber front seat.
I have no idea what today will bring. I may go home with a few stories. I may meet someone who changes the direction of my business. Or I may just rack up some miles and good conversations.
But that’s the fun of it.
This entry is a reminder that when you show up, stay curious, and use your time with intention, you’ll be amazed at what can unfold—even on a Thursday afternoon.
More updates soon—see you on the road.
