Strategic Partners, Team Sport Philosophy, and Uber Conversations

Strategic Partners, Team Sport Philosophy, and Uber Conversations

June 22, 20252 min read

Good morning, good morning, good morning!

It’s Monday, June 23, 2025, and today kicked off with that familiar hum of possibility in the air. I'm heading down to Trailhead to connect with my good friend Gerald, do a little prospecting, and just see what kind of momentum we can stir up to start the week right.

Building Strategic Partnerships (and Getting Behind the Mic)

Earlier today, I had the chance to connect with a potential strategic partner—someone who’s going to help amplify my message, increase reach, and open new doors. We clicked immediately, and before I knew it, he had me on his podcast.

I got to share my favorite quote—one that perfectly captures how I think about life and business:

“Life is a team sport and a single-player game.”

It’s not either/or. It’s both.
You can’t win alone—but nobody can play your role for you either. That quote reminds me why building real relationships and mastering your own game are both non-negotiable.

Podcasting = Presence

The podcast interview wasn’t just an exposure opportunity—it was a reminder of how powerful it is to speak your values out loud.
When you verbalize what you believe, you solidify your direction and attract people who resonate with it.

That’s one reason I keep documenting these moments. It keeps me grounded and visible.

Afternoon Hustle: Uber Drives and Real Conversations

As the day moved on, I jumped back into Uber driving. It’s become more than a side hustle—it’s part of the business plan. Every ride is a chance for a conversation, a connection, or even spontaneous content.

And tonight? I’m wrapping up the evening by grabbing dinner with my friend Robert. Until then, I’m cruising around, picking up passengers, and—fingers crossed—recording a podcast or two if the vibe’s right.

✅ Goal: Have fun.
❌ Avoid police involvement.
🎯 Optimize for stories, not stress.

Final Thoughts: Be a Great Player, Be a Great Teammate

Today was a great example of what I call “living the loop.” I’m meeting people, building partnerships, creating content on the move, and aligning each piece toward the bigger mission.

If there’s one takeaway from today, it’s this:

Play a great game. Be a great teammate. That’s how you win in business and in life.

Whether you're driving across town, sitting in a podcast chair, or grabbing tacos with a friend—your network is your leverage, and your story is your strategy.

More soon. Let’s keep showing up.
