The Importance of Documenting the Journey: A Marketing Strategy

January 29, 2024. Monday morning. Today marks an exciting day as we welcome Brandon Freeman to the Kaitech team. Brandon, our new videographer and storyteller, is set to play a pivotal role in our marketing strategy. Our aim is to connect Brandon with Rosie, allowing him to document our journey as we work on our marketing endeavors. Through showcasing our process and highlighting the value we bring to our clients, we hope to create a dynamic and engaging marketing campaign that resonates with our audience.

In a project-based company like ours, the way we execute a project plays a significant role in securing future projects. While sales efforts are crucial for the initial sale, it is the quality of our production and the positive experiences our clients have with us that encourage them to return. Therefore, our marketing strategy revolves around showing people what it's truly like to work with us, how we engineer and automate their production lines with the help of cutting-edge technology like robotics and conveyors.

To put this strategy into action, we generate content that revolves around our marketing ideas. From conceptualization to execution and showcasing the results and impact, we invite clients and anyone interested in our journey to witness it firsthand. Our goal is not to present a polished masterpiece but to take our audience on a behind-the-scenes tour of our business operations. By unveiling the talent, intellect, and engineering expertise of our team members on the factory floor, we aim to showcase our core competitive advantage.

At Kaitech, our team is our greatest asset. It is the collective knowledge, design ideas, and engineering backgrounds that set us apart. The potential for our team to excel is boundless, and the journey we embark on is a testament to their incredible abilities. By inviting others into our world, we offer them a glimpse into our operations, our work ethic, and our dedication to delivering exceptional results.

Having someone like Brandon onboard to help tell our story is a tremendous asset. His first project will involve assisting me in rebuilding our website, a task that has been delayed due to HR responsibilities, hiring, and onboarding new team members. With Brandon's support, I'm excited to inject new life into our online presence and provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of who we are and what we do.

In other news, our efforts to grow our subscriber base for our Christmas ornament line have borne fruit. We are thrilled to announce that our subscriber count has increased from five to six. While this may seem like a small number, it represents individuals who wholeheartedly believe in our idea and are willing to invest in it. They set aside $27 each week to support our vision. It is this unwavering faith that motivates us to work harder and make our idea the resounding success we envision.

Life is about embracing exciting prospects and adventures, both in business and personally. Penny, our beloved four-legged companion, recently received a much-needed haircut. On Wednesday, we plan to attend a Steelheads game with friends—an event we're eagerly looking forward to. It's essential to strike a balance between work and leisure, and this outing promises to be a delightful escape from our busy schedules at Giggy D's.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, finding time to sync up with colleagues and align our strategies can be a challenge. However, I remain determined to make it happen. Collaborating with Gerald, Jake, and Baja is of utmost importance to me. I want to ensure we are all on the same page, working together seamlessly towards our shared goals. Sometimes, the simplest tasks can become frustrating when we lack the opportunity to sit down and fully explore our collective vision. Despite these challenges, we press on, knowing that the joys of life often come bundled with the occasional hurdles.

In conclusion, documenting our journey and sharing it with the world is an integral part of our marketing strategy at Kaitech. Through the lens of Brandon, our new videographer and storyteller, we will capture the essence of our team's talent, dedication, and capabilities. By offering clients and interested individuals an inside look into our processes and operations, we hope to forge a stronger connection and inspire confidence in what we do. Remember, it is not just about the end result; it is the story behind it that resonates with people. So join us as we embark on this exciting adventure, and together, let's shape the future of Kaitech.

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

Good morning. It is January 29, 2024. It is Monday morning.

It's going to be a good day. I am onboarding Brandon Freeman today. He is the new videographer and storyteller at Kaitech.

So I'm really excited about bringing him on board. One of my plans is to connect Brandon with Rosie. And so Brandon, as he's going through and working on stuff, getting our marketing strategy in place, he can be documenting pieces of that journey to Rosie.

And Rosie can then use my social media presence to drive out that story. Because, again, my philosophy on marketing, especially in a project based company, is how you do the project is what lands the next project. Sales is only really relevant on the very first sale.

Besides that, they're negotiating and putting together the deals, but production is why a client keeps coming back. And so our goal with our marketing strategy is to show people what it is like being involved with us, show them what it is like when they have Kaitech automation come in and engineer part of their line, come in and help them automate with robotics and other machinery, conveyors, all the stuff we deal. So that's the strategy.

And so we create content around our idea for a marketing strategy. We create content executing on our idea, then we execute the idea. And the main idea is off and running, which we create content around that.

And then we create content around the results of the idea and the impact and how we're going to roll it into the next idea. It's not about presenting some finished masterpiece. It's about inviting our clients, inviting the people in our world on the journey with us through time, inviting them to look inside our business and see how we operate, see why.

The number one competitive advantage Kaitech has is our team. It's the people on the floor who have the design ideas, who have the intellect, the engineering background to pull it all together. That's Kitech's competitive advantage, and it can go anywhere.

And so that's all part of this journey, is demonstrating, this is our team, this is how we show up, this is what we do. So I'm really excited to have help telling that story. And Brandon's first project is going to be helping me finish rebuilding the website because I've been so focused on HR and hiring and onboarding people and getting all that figured out that I haven't had any time to really focus on the website.

So it's going to be a boatload of fun. I can't wait. I can't wait.

I got the handout all updated for this week. We've moved from five Christmas ornament subscribers up to six this week. Go team.

And the way I look at it, that's six people who are saying, I believe in this idea, and I believe in this idea enough that I will consistently put aside $27 into this pot for me and everyone else that also believes in this idea. So that's what they're saying, in my opinion. And that's what we're going to do.

We're going to make it work. It's very exciting stuff. What do you think, Penny? Penny got her haircut as much needed, so this Wednesday we're going to the Steelheads game with some friends.

So that'll be a lot of fun. That will be an adventure. So I will not be at Giggy D's this Wednesday.

We'll pick it up next Wednesday. I'm hoping maybe Thursday I get some time to sit down and really go through my weekly update. I really want to find time to go through it with Gerald and Jake and Baja.

So frustrating trying to get people on the same page without having time to sit down and really explore what that page looks like. But that's the joys of life. The joys of life.

Anyways, that's my update. We are going to rock and roll today. Who knows? Maybe you'll see more of me a little later today.

Never can tell. Anyways, have a great day, everybody. We'll talk to you all soon.
