Every day we make choices.
We make choices about what we do, how we do, who we do it with, and why we do it.
There are some choices that people make which alter their life forever.
One of those choices is to join the military.
When you look at the people who have chosen to join the military, you see someone who has risked everything, including life itself, to protect the freedoms that we enjoy in America.
The price of freedom is never finished being paid, and it must be fought for each and every day.
One of the things that I have always regretted is that I did not sign up to protect our country in the military.
This country has done everything for me.
I am so blessed and lucky to be an American, and I will always fight for it.
On this Veteran's day, I want to thank everyone American who signed up to pay the ultimate price to protect us.
I want to thank the families of the veterans who DID pay the ultimate price and are dealing with what that means for them.
I want to thank the parents of our veterans who taught their kids to love and protect our nation.
I want to thank the veterans for the service they have done.
Everything I do is inspired by you, the veterans who were willing to give it all up to so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have.
Together, we will protect the freedoms promised by the Declaration of Independence and take care of the people who make this nation great!
